New song from Nine Inch Nails?

Nine Inch Nails have been silent for the last two years, i.e. since the release of the “Seed Eight” EP and since the last tour promoting the 2013 “Hesitation Marks” album finished.

There are some serious hints that the band’s silence will soon be broken. The online music database discogs.com has recently posted a listing titled “Nine Inch Nails – Dive and Slam“. It contains a file described as “Promo”, which lasts 4 minutes and 35 seconds, as well as release date 16 Sep 2016.

This would indicate that a new song from Nine Inch Nails will be released on that day. There is no information on whether drummer Ilan Rubin took part in the recording…
