Thrash metal classics, Flotsam and Jetsam, have officially announced their new drummer, who has replaced Jason Bittner.

The new musician in the band’s line-up is Ken Mary, who began touring with the group last year after Jason Bittner joined Overkill. Right now, his name has been announced as the group’s permanent member. Therefore, it is Ken Mary who is performing with Flotsam and Jetsam on the tour which has recently kicked off in Europe and is going to move to the US.

Ken Mary says: “It’s always awesome to play with the mighty Flotsam and Jetsam. The music is super-challenging and at the same time a great deal of fun to play. With such great musicians in the band that are also great guys, it’s going to be a blast!

The band’s comment: “We’re excited to announce that Ken [Mary] will be our new drummer. Ken has already tracked all the drums for our upcoming album slated for release later this year, and we’re all looking forward to the fans experiencing a new chapter in the history of Flotsam and Jetsam.

As a drummer, Ken K Mary has collaborated with such artists as Alice Cooper, Accept, Robin Beck, House Of Lords, Northern Light Orchestra, or Bonfire. He is also a singer, music producer, sound engineer and writer.
