He has spent the last 49 years in the drummer’s seat for Fleetwood Mac – one of the best-selling bands in history, whose combined wordwide album sales exceed 100 million, while the band’s “Rumours” album alone has been picked up by over 40 million people, which makes it one of the best-selling albums of all time, e.g. together with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller“.

The lineup features Fleetwood Mac’s former guitarist Rick Vito. The band plays a mix of original tunes, cover tunes, and 1960s Fleetwood Mac material written by founding singer/guitarist Peter Green, including “Oh Well” and “Black Magic Woman“.

Here is how Mick Fleetwood himself explains why he formed this group: “Over my career I’ve been called a pop star and a rock star, yet in my inner heart, I will always be part bluesman. On my journey from blues to a life of rock ‘n’ roll, I’ve always remembered where I started.

Seems like all there is to do for blues and Mick Fleetwood fans in central Europe is to patiently wait for the moment Mick Fleetwood Blues Band visit this corner of the world.
