Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and TEMPLE OF THE DOG drummer Matt Cameron has recently stated in an interview for the Internet radio station Radio.com that the forthcoming 25th anniversary reissue of the latter group’s self-titled 1991 album may include previously unreleased material.
Most probably, those will be alternate takes of songs already known from the original album as well as demo versions recorded by Chris Cornell (TEMPLE OF THE DOG and Soundgarden singer). Matt Cameron says: “I think there’s probably alternate takes, and I think Chris made demos. But his demos are pretty freaking cool. Some of his demos are amazing.”
Is there going to be a completely new and unknown song amongst this material? We have to wait for the 25th anniversary reissue to hit the market…
TEMPLE OF THE DOG have also confirmed a reunion connected with the 25th anniversary of the release of their album, which will include a run of five concerts in the US in November this year.Share
