> > HIM announce farewell tour

“We completed the pattern, solved the puzzle and turned the key. Thank you.”

After 26 years of loud career Finnish band HIM decided to say goodbye to their fans. Pioneers of “love metal” and authors of such hits as “Join Me”, “Right Here In My Arms”. “Gone With The Sin” or “The Funeral of Hearts” came to the conclusion, that it’s time for the last word. Their charismatic leader, Ville Valo said:

After quarter of a century of Love and Metal intertwined we sincerely feel HIM has run its unnatural course and adieus must be said in order to make way for sights, scents and sounds yet unexplored. We completed the pattern, solved the puzzle and turned the key. Thank you.”

HIM’s current drummer is  Jukka “Kosmo” Kröger, who replaced well known and long time skinsman- Gas Lipstick. Their last album was “Tears on Tape” from 2013. It’s farewell, but they want to do this big time, so whole tour is going to be huge. The band is going to play 35 shows in 14 countries, but it’s not the final number. Tickets are going to be available this Wednsday, so get ready! Everyone should find something accurate for them when it comes to country and venue, so it’s not going to be “gone with the sin”, as Ville sang in one of their hit songs. We wish them all the best, and we are thankful for so many years of creative work! Here is the full official statement, and tour dates:
