Bartek Pawlus is a guy one could refer to as “drumming machine”. We admit that term did cross our minds the moment we first saw and heard him play. Nevertheless, it would not do justice to this young man’s unquestionable talent, mainly because it would overlook the articulation, feeling, groove and energy, endless deposits of which seem to ooze out of the man, driving and enriching not only his own playing but also the entire machinery (a jednak!) of a band lucky enough to have Bartek Pawlus as their rhythmic backbone.
